Illustrating information

We’re in the enviable position of being flooded with information these days. One way to direct readers through the flow is with simple drawings and text that entices readers to take it in. Any content can become an illustrated mural, report, or post - but why stop at conventional formats, I’ve illustrated tablecloths, garage doors, and even garden stones.

Illustrating ideas and conversations

Thanks for stopping by. I’m doing the occasional illustration these days but am not doing live graphic recording anymore. If you need help finding a graphic recorder visit www.IFVP.org.

About me:

I live and work in the fabulous Minneapolis-St. Paul area and grew up in Chicago. Before starting graphic recording in 2014, I had many years of experience managing a small nonprofit and doing community organizing. My grad degree was counseling psychology and I spent some time as an illustrator. I've done coursework in visual processes (graphic facilitation, scribing, and visual recording). For fun, I've done a few yarn-bombed bikes. You can see lots of images of and about graphic recording on my Pinterest page.
